Access to affordable spay and neuter services plays a critical role in reducing pet overpopulation and supporting healthier communities. Through the Spay Neuter Impact Project (SNIP), we’re working to better understand the needs of pet owners, community cat caretakers, rescues, shelters and TNR organizations in our area. By gathering feedback directly from the people who use and rely on these services, we hope to identify where gaps exist, what barriers make access difficult, and where additional resources or support could make the greatest impact. What we learn will help guide how we can best work to facilitate solutions and fill those gaps.
Help Us Raise $100,000
SNIP Iowa is ready to move from an idea to action. We have identified a facility, built a plan, and are preparing to create the affordable, high-volume spay/neuter resource our community desperately needs. Now we need our community behind us.
Our goal is to raise $100,000 —the funding we need to confidently execute a lease and begin turning an empty space into a working spay/neuter clinic. These funds will help cover facility improvements, surgical and medical equipment, kennels and recovery equipment, supplies, technology, and the many startup costs required to open our doors.
This is our opportunity to stop managing the consequences of pet overpopulation and start investing in the solution.
Every donation—large or small—moves us one step closer to opening SNIP Iowa and making affordable spay/neuter care accessible to the animals, families, rescues, and community cats that need it most.
