Dayna is the co-founder of The Straygency and has been actively involved in animal rescue and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts for more than a decade. With extensive hands-on experience in community cat management, she is deeply committed to humane population control and improving the lives of stray and feral cats. Dayna plays a central role in coordinating TNR initiatives, managing medical records, and guiding the organization’s strategic direction. Her passion for animal welfare and dedication to sustainable solutions continue to drive The Straygency’s mission forward.

Sarah is the co-founder of The Straygency and brings an unwavering passion for animal welfare to the organization’s mission. Deeply committed to rescue, fostering, and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), she plays a key role in supporting the organization’s day-to-day operations and helping ensure cats in the community receive the care they need. Sarah has been instrumental in building the foundation of The Straygency and continues to advocate for humane solutions that improve the lives of community cats. Her dedication and compassion are central to the organization’s impact.

Megan is an accounting professional with expertise in financial management, financial analytics, and tax preparation. A QuickBooks specialist with exceptional attention to detail, she is known for her strong organizational skills and commitment to accurate financial reporting. As Treasurer of The Straygency, Megan helps ensure the organization maintains transparent, responsible financial practices that support its mission and stewardship of donor funds. She is passionate about community involvement and enjoys using her professional skills to support organizations making a meaningful difference.

Kristin is a passionate advocate for cat rescue and animal welfare, dedicated to promoting adoption, fostering, and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) as humane solutions to reduce homeless cat populations. She actively raises awareness about the importance of community involvement in protecting and caring for stray and abandoned cats, helping connect animals in need with safe homes and supportive networks. Kristin is also committed to educating others about responsible pet ownership and the lifesaving impact of rescue efforts.

Professionally, Kristin is a Sales Operations and Proposal Leader specializing in RFP strategy, proposal development, and project management within the government and telecommunications sectors. She brings the same organization, coordination, and strategic communication skills to her role as Secretary for The Straygency, helping ensure the organization maintains strong governance, clear documentation, and effective collaboration.

Mark brings more than two decades of leadership experience in the agribusiness and protein industries to The Straygency’s Board of Directors. He currently serves as Senior Beef Protein Specialist at DecisionNext, a prescriptive analytics platform that helps commodities-driven industries improve forecasting and maximize profitability through data-driven insights. Mark is also President of Corwin Road, L.L.C., a consulting firm based in Cedar Rapids focused on business strategy and operational growth.

Throughout his career, Mark has held senior leadership roles with major protein companies including JBS and has led organizations through strategic growth and business development initiatives. He has also collaborated with renowned animal scientist Temple Grandin on livestock handling systems and animal welfare standards.

As Director of Strategy & Business Development for The Straygency, Mark provides guidance on organizational growth, operational systems, and long-term sustainability. He brings a lifelong commitment to animal welfare and a passion for supporting organizations that improve the well-being of animals in their communities.

John is a respected attorney and a graduate of the University of Iowa College of Law, where he earned his law degree in 1997. With decades of legal experience, he provides valuable guidance to The Straygency on governance, compliance, and organizational policies. John is deeply passionate about animal welfare and is proud to support the organization’s mission to humanely reduce community cat populations through Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) and rescue efforts. His legal insight helps ensure the organization operates responsibly and in the best interest of the animals and community it serves.

Michael brings expertise in software development, automation, and emerging technologies to his role as Technology & Systems Advisor for The Straygency. With a strong background in coding, artificial intelligence, and workflow optimization, he helps the organization design systems that streamline administrative processes and improve data management. Michael is passionate about using technology to solve real-world problems and increase efficiency for mission-driven organizations. His work helps The Straygency reduce administrative workload and focus more resources on rescue, fostering, and Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) efforts.
